In a recent operation in Fergana, more than 25 individuals were arrested by authorities

The Department of Internal Affairs of the region reported the detection of 96 crimes during this swift action. Among those apprehended were 50 wanted individuals who had evaded legal proceedings and investigative bodies. Additionally, over 25 people associated with criminal gangs were detained for acts of bullying, leading to the suspension of their activities.

The operation resulted in the seizure of 5.921 kilograms of narcotic drugs, 414 units of psychotropic substances, 42 weapons, 221 ammunition, 61 pieces of various criminal evidence, along with computers, phones, and banned religious literature—all collected as physical evidence.

For instance, in the Toshloq district, an individual was found in possession of 8 illegally obtained hunting weapons, 61 cartridges, 400 grams of gunpowder, and 140 5.6 mm caliber ammunition in their residence.

Furthermore, on December 9th of this year, a person born in 1988 and residing in Gulistan neighborhood of Margilan city, identified as B. Hamidov, was apprehended. Hamidov, convicted under articles 164, 165, 166, and 277 of the Criminal Code, was found to have a negative impact on the operational situation. He had inflicted serious injuries on an individual and was subsequently arrested for hiding.

It's worth noting that, as part of rapid preventive measures, individuals suspected of crimes have been arrested in Tashkent city, as well as in Fergana, Andijan, Namangan, Samarkand, Khorezm, and Tashkent regions until today.
