Employees in 3 regions arrested for bribery

Fraudsters attempting to secure jobs through bribery were apprehended in the Kashkadarya, Bukhara, and Fergana regions, according to UzA reports.

During an operation led by the relevant authorities, a security guard at "D.K." JSC in the Dehqanabad district of Kashkadarya was caught accepting bribes from individuals M.A., S.U., and Yo.I. in exchange for promises to secure employment at the enterprise for $2,500.

In another case, the accountant at the Shafirkon District Medical Association, Y.H., was arrested for taking $700 in return for promising to hire citizen S.Z. at the medical association.

In Fergana, a gas worker from "Toshloqtumangaz," M.M., and his accomplices were discovered taking 1.7 million sums and $500 from citizen A.S. in exchange for employment at the gas supply company. Following the discovery, the fraudsters returned $640 of the bribe, which was formally documented in the procedural records.

"Criminal cases have been initiated under Articles 25, 168 (fraud), and 28, 211 (bribery) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, and investigative actions are underway," the report stated.

Additionally, it was previously reported that a senior assistant prosecutor from the Chartok district of Namangan was also apprehended for accepting a bribe.
