The fares for using public transportation in the Tashkent region were updated

13865The price of payment for public transport in the cities of the Tashkent region will change. Yesterday, on May 31, the regional governor Zoyir Mirzayev made a decision on this matter.
According to it, hourly, daily, monthly, and annual unlimited tariffs are set at 30 percent higher than electronic payment.
For example, the fare for one passenger is 1,700 soums when paid by bank and transport cards, and 2,500 soums for cash payment. The cost of transporting one passenger's luggage is 2500 soums.
According to the table attached to the decision, the six-month payment for one passenger is 900,000 soums, and the one-year payment is 1,826,000 soums. For students, pupils, pensioners, and disabled people, the six-month payment is 450,000 soums, and the annual payment is 913,000 soums.
Also, according to the tariff plan, a passenger who takes several buses in one hour will pay 1,700 soums for the first bus, 700 soums for the second bus, and the third and subsequent buses will be free.
The decision is set to enter into force on the day it is announced.
We remind you that all transport card sales stations in Tashkent have been suspended since May 15.
