Uzbek woman kills her husband in Istanbul

In Istanbul’s Kartal district, a 28-year-old Uzbek woman fatally stabbed her husband during an argument over financial difficulties. This was reported by Nefes Gazetesi.

Details of the Incident: The tragic event occurred on April 6, 2025, around 9:30 PM, in an apartment on the third floor of a building in the Karliktepe neighborhood. According to reports, the Uzbek citizen, identified as S.T., had been married to Emre Erim for four years. The couple’s argument over financial issues escalated into a physical altercation. In a fit of anger, S.T. grabbed a kitchen knife and inflicted fatal injuries on her husband, Emre Erim. He succumbed to his injuries shortly after.

The victim’s body was sent to the Forensic Medicine Institute for examination. Police teams from Kartal district apprehended S.T. as she attempted to flee the scene. Investigations into the case are currently ongoing.

Note: Previously, in Kanash, Russia, a man dressed as Santa Claus shot and killed a shop owner. The victim died at the scene from his injuries, while the attacker fled.
