Uzhydromet warns of potential floods and mudflows in mountainous regions

UzHydromet has released the weather forecast for April 14. 

In Tashkent City, the weather will be partly cloudy. Short-term rain and possible thunderstorms are expected at night and in the morning, but no precipitation is forecasted during the day. Winds will blow from the east at 5-10 m/s. Temperatures will be 15-17°C at night and 24-26°C during the day.

The Republic of Karakalpakstan and Khorezm Region will experience partly cloudy skies with no precipitation. Winds will blow from the east at 7-12 m/s. Temperatures will be 8-13°C at night and 23-28°C during the day.

In Bukhara and Navoi Regions, the weather will also be partly cloudy without any precipitation. Winds will blow from the east at 7-12 m/s. Temperatures are expected to be 13-18°C at night and 25-30°C during the day.

The Tashkent, Sirdaryo, Jizzakh, and Samarkand Regions will see partly cloudy skies. Short-term rain and possible thunderstorms are forecasted at night and in the morning in some locations. Winds will blow from the east at 7-12 m/s, with potential gusts up to 13-18 m/s in certain areas. Temperatures will range from 12-17°C at night to 24-29°C during the day.

In Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya Regions, the weather will be partly cloudy, with short-term rain and thunderstorms expected at night and in the morning in some areas. Winds will blow from the east at 7-12 m/s. Nighttime temperatures will be 15-20°C, while daytime temperatures will range between 30-35°C.

In Andijan, Namangan, and Fergana Regions, the weather will be partly cloudy with short-term rain and thunderstorms in some areas. Winds will blow from the east at 7-12 m/s, with possible gusts up to 13-18 m/s. Temperatures will range from 12-17°C at night to 23-28°C during the day.

The mountainous and foothill areas of the country will experience partly cloudy skies with short-term rain in some places. Heavy rain, thunderstorms, and risks of mudflows or floods may occur in certain areas. Winds will blow from the east at 7-12 m/s, possibly strengthening to 15-20 m/s. Temperatures will be 5-10°C at night and 13-18°C during the day.
