How will payments be handled for private kindergartens temporarily closed due to the heat?

All public and private preschool education institutions in the Tashkent region have been temporarily closed. The announcement was reported by the Uzbek National News Agency (UzA).

According to the report, the decision was made during a meeting chaired by the governor of the Tashkent region, where instructions were issued to all district and city administrations. As a result, the operations of all public, private, and departmental preschool education institutions across the region have been suspended starting today, July 16.

The kindergartens will resume operations once weather conditions return to normal and following an additional decision by the regional administration.

Earlier, authorities warned that extremely hot air masses from the south would continue affecting Uzbekistan between July 18 and 20. Following the forecast, kindergartens in several parts of the country, including Karakalpakstan, Khorezm, Navoi, Bukhara, Surkhandarya, and Fergana, were also temporarily closed.
