It will be easier to get information about the removal of a criminal record

7958Starting from 1 September of this year, the principles of providing public services in the sector in a proactive way, in order to put an end to bureaucracy and censorship in the direction of the completion of the term of conviction in Uzbekistan and its removal, as well as to radically reduce outdated and incompatible procedures will be introduced. This is stated in the decision “On measures to create additional convenience for the population in paying administrative fines and to eliminate corruption factors in the sector” signed by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev today, 23 March.
According to the decision, the information about the expiration of the conviction period or the removal of the conviction is automatically generated online in the single information system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs “Instant data.”
Also, the relevant reference is automatically sent free of charge to the person’s personal office on the portal of the Unified Interactive State Services no later than the morning of the date of the expiration of the conviction or the removal of the conviction.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, together with the Supreme Court, the General Prosecutor’s Office and the Ministry of Digital Technologies, will take all necessary measures to ensure the implementation of this clause by 1 July 2023.
In addition, the following information is available in the single information system “Electronic criminal-legal statistics”:
Information on viewing of materials related to voluntary fines paid in court, solving issues arising in the execution of court decisions through mutual integration of the information systems of the Supreme Court and the Ministry of Internal Affairs;
Information about fines collected through the mutual integration of the information systems of the Bureau of Enforcement and the Ministry of Internal Affairs;
Through the mutual integration of the “Probation Account” electronic database and the “Electronic Criminal-Legal Statistics” single information system, information about persons released from probation will be automatically displayed.
