Labo vehicle hits a schoolboy in Samarkand, resulting in the child's death

A Labo driver struck a school student in the Samarkand region, as reported by the Regional DIA Road Safety Department.

The incident occurred on July 23 around 14:00 on an internal road passing through the territory of the "Sakhovat'' neighborhood. The driver of a Labo car collided with a minor cyclist, resulting in an accident.

The cyclist was taken to the city's central hospital with injuries but succumbed despite medical treatment.

"A boy riding a bicycle suddenly appeared in front of me on the road. I didn't notice him. I urge drivers and cyclists to be cautious. I deeply regret what happened and assure you that it won't happen again," stated the driver.

Currently, the investigation is being conducted by the investigation department of the Samarkand City Internal Affairs Department.
