Yesterday, October 14, Saida Mirziyoyeva, the eldest daughter of Uzbekistan’s President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Head of the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan, met in London with David Lammy, the Deputy Prime Minister and Secretary of State for Justice of the United Kingdom. Saida Mirziyoyeva shared the news on her Telegram channel.

According to reports, the meeting focused on developing human capital, introducing certain Cambridge programs in Uzbek schools, launching projects to study the Uzbek language at Oxford, and recruiting English-speaking teachers.
’’It was emphasized that such joint projects play an important role in strengthening the friendship between our peoples,’’ Mirziyoyeva wrote.

It is worth noting that on October 9 this year, Saida Mirziyoyeva met in Brussels with Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission, and with Josep Borrell, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, as well as Kaja Kallas, Vice President of the European Commission. She also met with the European Commissioner for International Partnerships, Josef Sikela. On October 13, in London, Mirziyoyeva met with Odile Renaud-Basso, President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). Additionally, she held a meeting in London with Baroness Arielle Mallard de Rothschild, a member of the supervisory board of Rothschild & Co.
