Saida Mirziyoyeva, the eldest daughter of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan and a Presidential Assistant, met with the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Mishustin, who is currently on an official visit to Uzbekistan. Mirziyoyeva shared the news on her social media page.

During the discussion, several key areas of bilateral cooperation were addressed, including pressing issues in the fields of economy, culture, and education, with particular emphasis on labor migration.

"We also agreed to further develop close communication aimed at expanding our mutually beneficial partnership," wrote Saida Mirziyoyeva.

It is worth noting that on September 9, during the fifth meeting of the Joint Commission at the level of the heads of government of Russia and Uzbekistan, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin mentioned that the two countries are exploring the possibilities of localizing the production of civil unmanned aircraft systems and their components. On September 10, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev received a delegation led by Prime Minister Mishustin.
