Saida Mirziyoyeva meets with Valentina Matvienko

Saida Mirziyoyeva, Assistant to the President of Uzbekistan and the eldest daughter of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, met today, April 7, with Valentina Matvienko, Chairperson of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation. Mirziyoyeva shared details of the meeting on her social media page.

The meeting took place within the framework of the 150th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, currently being held in Tashkent.

“I was pleased with the sincere and open dialogue. It is always a pleasure to talk about friendship and cooperation. Welcome to Uzbekistan!” wrote Mirziyoyeva.

For reference, Valentina Matvienko is leading the Russian delegation at the 150th anniversary Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union in Tashkent. Today also marks her 76th birthday.

It should be noted that President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev had also previously received Valentina Matvienko.
