About 67,000 consumers lost power due to heavy rain and wind

As of May 18, at 10:00 a.m., 190 6-10 kV feeders with a combined capacity of 274 MW were shut down across Uzbekistan due to severe weather conditions. This information was provided by the Ministry of Energy.

Consequently, 66,750 consumers, including small industrial enterprises in the regions of Karakalpakstan, Khorezm, Samarkand, Kashkadarya, Bukhara, and Tashkent, experienced temporary power outages.

Despite the challenging weather, special brigades are actively working to resolve all malfunctions.

It is worth noting that "Uzgidromet" has forecasted heavy rains from May 16-22, which may cause flooding in nine regions of Uzbekistan.
