Mirziyoyev has a telephone conversation with Aliyev

Today, on April 5, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, had a telephone conversation with the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev. This was reported by the press service of the President.

It was noted that the heads of state discussed pressing issues on the bilateral and multilateral agenda. Particular attention was paid to accelerating the implementation of cooperation projects and programs in the trade, economic, investment, and humanitarian spheres.

The plan for future high-level meetings was also reviewed. Views were exchanged on issues of regional cooperation, including within the framework of the Organization of Turkic States and the Economic Cooperation Organization.

It should be recalled that on March 20, Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Ilham Aliyev also had a telephone conversation. They sincerely congratulated each other and the fraternal peoples of the two countries on the spring holiday, Nowruz, wishing them peace, tranquility, prosperity, and success.
