Teacher assaults a student and throws stones at him in Khorezm (video)

A disturbing video has emerged on social media showing a teacher from School No. 7 in the Shovot district of the Khorezm region assaulting a student outside the school premises. The regional Department of Preschool and School Education has provided details about the incident.  

According to the report, the altercation occurred on November 7 of this year. The confrontation began with a fight between students from the 5th and 7th grades. Following this, the mother of the 5th-grade student—who is also a primary school teacher at the same institution—physically assaulted the 7th-grade student in front of the school. The teacher also threw stones at the student, allegedly in retaliation for a quarrel involving her son. The incident was recorded by the school’s surveillance cameras.  

In response to the incident, the teacher received a disciplinary penalty of warning for conduct deemed inappropriate for an educator and for gross violations of the school's internal regulations.  

It is worth noting that this is not the first violent incident involving educators in the Khorezm region. Previously, a woman was reported to have assaulted a teacher in front of students. In that case, a criminal investigation was initiated against the perpetrator.
