Man drives into people after losing football game in Samarkand (video)

Videos circulating on social media show a man driving his Nexia vehicle into people on a football field in front of a secondary school in the Nurabad district of Samarkand region. The Regional Road Safety Department has confirmed the incident.

According to the Road Safety Department's investigation, both the driver and the vehicle involved in the violation were identified. An administrative report was filed against the driver in accordance with the law, and the vehicle was temporarily impounded.

"I was angry because my team lost. I got into my car, drove onto the football field, and acted recklessly. I urge all drivers to observe proper driving etiquette and control their behavior. I regret my actions and apologize," said the driver.

To prevent similar incidents, a comprehensive meeting was held at Secondary School No. 35, located in the driver's neighborhood.

Earlier, in the Saykhunabad district of the Syrdarya region, a Captiva driver rammed his car into people after a dispute during a football match. Despite the victims later stating that they held no grudge against the driver, he was sentenced to 4 years and 6 months in prison for endangering public safety and fleeing the scene of the crime.
