Fire breaks out in the building housing a bank in Khorezm (video)

Today, on September 25, a fire broke out on the rented upper floor of a bank building located in the city of Urganch, Khorezm region. The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the region provided information about the incident.

According to the report, at 11:05 a.m., the regional Fire and Rescue Department received information that a fire had broken out in the building of the "Navbahor" neighborhood on Tinchlik Street. Firefighters arrived at the scene by 11:10 a.m., managed to contain the flames at 11:30 a.m., and fully extinguished the fire by 12:22 p.m.

Approximately 30 square meters of the building’s roof was damaged by the fire. A total of four fire rescue crews and one truck driver were involved in extinguishing the blaze. Fortunately, no one was injured or killed as a result of the fire. The cause of the fire and the total amount of material damage are currently being investigated.

It should be noted that a similar fire occurred earlier at a production enterprise in the Tashkent region. In that case, the fire damaged an area of 150 square meters, but thanks to the efforts of the firefighters, 600 square meters of the enterprise were saved.
