Traffic through Kamchik Pass resumed from 11:00 a.m. on February 13, according to the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The ministry said the road was reopened after emergency services and other relevant agencies carried out preventive measures to reduce the risk of avalanches.

However, according to the forecast, traffic through the pass may be suspended again around 7:00 p.m. today as the risk of avalanches could increase in the evening.

Earlier, avalanches were reported at Kamchik Pass in Pop district of Namangan region on February 12 between 5:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.
