8331Between January and December 2023, Uzbekistan received humanitarian aid worth a total of $197.842 million from 30 different countries, according to a report by the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
The majority of this aid (83.63%) came from five main countries:
- Germany: $71.3794 million (36% of total aid)
- China: $27.4676 million (13.9%)
- USA: $23.2342 million (11.8%)
- Belgium: $22.6202 million (11.4%)
- Switzerland: $20.7578 million (10.5%)
The humanitarian aid was primarily allocated to the following sectors:
