The perpetrators behind the misappropriation of significant credit funds from citizens have been detained in Qoqon, located in the Fergana region. This information was relayed by the Department of Economic Crimes Prevention.
Following an investigation led by the Qoqon city division of the Department under the Prosecutor General's Office, it was revealed that individuals Sh.U. and A.V. , responsible for “G-W” and “E-W” LLCs and others colluded to acquire a total of 6.3 billion soums in car loans from various commercial bank branches in the names of 19 citizens. They then embezzled these loan funds without providing the promised vehicles to the citizens.
A criminal case has been launched in response to this matter under the relevant sections of the Criminal Code, with ongoing investigations underway.
