Mirziyoyev left for Kazakhstan on a business visit

Today, September 8, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev departed for Astana on a business visit, following an invitation from Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. The President's press service reported this.
During the visit, President Mirziyoyev will attend the ceremonial opening of the fifth World Nomad Games in Astana — international sports competitions featuring ethnic sports recognized as Intangible Cultural Heritage by UNESCO.
Over 2,000 athletes from approximately 90 countries, including Uzbekistan, are expected to participate in this event.
Earlier, it was reported that President Shavkat Mirziyoyev had an informal meeting with Kazakhstan’s first President Nursultan Nazarbayev in Bukhara.
