The recent rankings released by the International Chess Federation (FIDE) revealed that three representatives from Uzbekistan have secured positions among the top 100 chess players in the rapid category.
Here's the breakdown of the ratings for chess players from Uzbekistan:
- 13(16). GM Nodirbek Abdusattarov – 2733
- 51(56). GM Rustam Kosimjanov – 2648
- 88(84). GM Javohir Sindorov – 2618
Additionally, FIDE master Afruza Hamdamova secured the 85th place among women with a rating of 2298 in the rapid category. Uzbekistan boasts four chess players within the top 100 players under the age of 20, according to the rapid rankings.

- 6(8). GM Javohir Sindorov (2005) — 2618

Moreover, two representatives from Uzbekistan made it to the top 100 girls under 20 in rapid chess:
