Nodirbek Yakubbayev wins Prague International Chess Festival

Uzbek chess player Nodirbek Yakubbayev has emerged as the champion of the Prague International Chess Festival, the Uzbekistan Chess Federation reported.
Competing in the Challengers group of this prestigious tournament, Yakubbayev secured victory by defeating Jonas Bjerre. With this win, he has earned a place in the Masters group of the tournament, which will take place in 2026.
Earlier, another Uzbek chess player, Nodirbek Abdusattorov, achieved third place at the Tata Steel Chess tournament in Wijk aan Zee, Netherlands.
