Uzbek girl dies after falling off scooter in Vietnam (video)

A 22-year-old Uzbek citizen tragically died in Phu Quoc, Vietnam, on January 29, according to a letter from the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Indonesia sent to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam.
The incident occurred when the young woman, who was driving a scooter without a driver's license, lost control and was struck by a bus traveling in the opposite direction. She succumbed to her injuries.
The embassy has requested assistance from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam to repatriate the body to Uzbekistan.
It is also worth noting that earlier, on January 25, a 42-year-old Uzbek national working as a metal structure assembler in the Krakole quarter near the village of Ust-Luga, in Russia's Kingisepp district, fell from a height of about 30 meters and died.
