Journalist Abdusamad Yuldashev passes away

Renowned journalist and labor veteran Abdusamad Yuldashev passed away today, January 23, at the age of 86. The Journalists’ Union reported this.

For reference, Abdusamad Yuldashev was born in 1940 in the Khanabad village of Zangiota district. Over the course of many years, he worked in various positions at Uzbekistan Radio, as well as at the Halk Sozi and Tashkent Haqiqati newspapers.

Nearly 40 years of his journalistic career were associated with the Tashkent Haqiqati newspaper. During this time, he served as a reporter, head of department, and first deputy editor-in-chief.

In addition, Abdusamad Yuldashev was awarded the honorary title of “Honored Journalist of the Republic of Uzbekistan.”

Earlier, it was reported that Rustam Mahmudov, the son of Robakhon Mahmudova, Chair of the Political Council of the Adolat Social Democratic Party of Uzbekistan and head of the party’s faction in the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, had passed away.
