New leader was appointed to “Uzenergosotish” JSC

Jahongir Obidjonovich Obidjonov has been appointed as the chairman of the board of "Uzenergosotish" JSC, according to a report from the Ministry of Energy.
Born in 1976 in Tashkent, Obidjonov graduated from the Tashkent State University of Economics in 1998 and the State and Society Building Academy under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2006.
From 2004 to 2007, Obidjonov held various roles at the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Between 2007 and 2017, he served as the first deputy chairman of the board at "Uzbekistan Industrial Construction Bank". From 2017 to 2019, he was the deputy chairman of the board of JSC "Uzbekenergo" and later acted as the chairman of the board. Between 2020 and 2022, he worked as the first deputy chairman of the board at JSC "Territorial Electric Networks".
Additionally, he completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Anglia Ruskin University, England, in 2024.
