Uzbek fencers are successfully participating in the Asian Championship

Currently, the Asian fencing championship between teenagers and young people is being held in Tashkent. Uzbek athletes are also fighting for prizes in various competitions.

On the first day of the tournament, Zuhriddin Kadyrov, who is considered the first world champion in this sport, won a gold medal in saber fighting. Another representative of Uzbekistan won the 2nd gold medal for the national team, defeating all her opponents in the saber competition, and Nargiza Jaksibayeva won the 3rd place in the competitions.

In the team competition on 5 March, the quartet of Fernanda Herrera, Nargiza Jaksibayeva, Ayakoz Jumamuratova and Dilnaz Usnatdinova defeated the Kazakhstan team in the final with a score of 45:21.

Thus far, the Uzbek team has won 3 gold and 1 bronze medals. The debates will continue until 9 March.
