Uzbekistan claims 20 medals at the Asian Senior Boxing Championship

The Asian Senior Boxing Championship, which started in Thailand on November 28, has ended. Uzbek boxers who participated in the competition won a total of 20 medals, ranking among the leaders.

In particular, in the men's competition, Uzbek boxers took 1st place in the overall team standings with 8 gold, 2 silver, and 1 bronze, a total of 11 medals, while in the women's competition, the Uzbek team took 2nd place in the overall team standings with 3 gold, 4 silver, and 2 bronze medals.

Among the men, Shodiyorjon Melikuziev, Asilbek Jalilov, Mirazizbek Mirzahalilov, Adhamjon Muhiddinov, Mujibillo Tursunov, Havasbek Asadullaev, Javokhir Ummataliev, and Turabek Habibullaev, and among the women, Farzona Fozilova, Feruza Kazakova, and Navbahor Hamidova won the honorable title of continental champion in their weight category.

Shahzod Muzafarov, Jasurbek Yuldoshev, Aziza Yakubova, Nigina Uktamova, Aziza Zokirova, and Oltinay Sotimboeva won silver, while Jahongir Zokirov, Sabina Bobokulova, and Sohiba Ruzmetova won bronze.
