Uzbek girls and boys start families mainly between the ages of 20 and 30. This is reported by State Statistics Committee.
Between January and August 2022, 49,272 girls and 1,753 boys under the age of 20 established families. Some 98,619 girls and 134,500 boys between the ages of 20 and 30 were married.
In addition, 13,740 women and 19,611 men aged 31 to 40 had established a family in eight months.
According to State Statistics Committee, 2,923 women and 5,740 men under the age of 41-50 got married. Among those aged 51 and older, 922 women and 3,872 men started a new family.
