The cheapest plov in Uzbekistan is sold in the Namangan region, while the most expensive is found in Tashkent. This information was reported by the Statistics Agency.

The average price of one serving of soup in various regions is as follows:

- Republic of Karakalpakstan – 24,300 soums
- Andijan region – 25,800 soums
- Bukhara region – 29,000 soums
- Jizzakh region – 26,100 soums
- Kashkadarya region – 28,100 soums
- Navoi region – 24,600 soums
- Namangan region – 20,000 soums
- Samarkand region – 27,800 soums
- Surkhandarya region – 27,100 soums
- Syrdarya region – 23,600 soums
- Tashkent region – 25,700 soums
- Fergana region – 23,800 soums
- Khorezm region – 28,300 soums
- Tashkent city – 30,400 soums

It is noted that prices are recorded by the price registrar at the time and date of observation, and they may vary depending on these factors. The data includes only the average prices of pilaf at selected catering establishments (Plov centers), excluding prices in restaurants and teahouses.

The list of public catering establishments for tracking pilaf prices is updated every January. To objectively evaluate price changes, the price level of newly observed establishments is also recorded for the previous period.
