In the 2022-2023 academic year, 7,918 women graduated from higher education institutions in Uzbekistan, as reported by the Statistics Agency.
Of these, the highest number, 2,359, attained master's degrees in education. Other fields had the following numbers of graduates:
- Arts and humanities: 1,768
- Natural sciences, mathematics, and statistics: 885
- Engineering, processing, and construction: 731
- Business, management, and law: 620
- Social sciences, journalism, and information: 543
- Healthcare and social security: 392
- Agriculture, forestry, fishery, and veterinary: 265
- Services: 179
- Information and communication technologies: 176 women received master's degrees.
