Licenses were issued to 12 companies for organizing the Umrah Pilgrimage

The selection commission for licensing the organization of "Umrah" events has announced 12 companies as the winners of the competition. This information was shared today, November 21, by the Committee on Religious Affairs.  

Among the licensed companies:  
- Six are based in Tashkent.  
- Three operate in the Namangan region.  
- One company each is located in the Khorezm, Fergana, and Andijan regions.  

*As per advertising regulations, the names of the licensed firms will not be disclosed. 

It is important to note that violations of licensing laws for organizing Umrah pilgrimages by legal entities can result in fines of up to 200 times the BCA (equivalent to 75 million sums). According to Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 300, the licensing conditions of the Committee on Religious Affairs mandate the allocation of $1 million USD to the "Pilgrimage Fund."
