Uzbek pilgrim hospitalized in Saudi Arabia, returns home for further treatment

48342An Uzbek citizen who suffered a stroke in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, has been brought back to Tashkent by the Consulate General. This information was reported by the "Dunyo" news agency.
The individual, identified as B.M., had traveled to Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah rituals but was hospitalized at King Abdulaziz Hospital after suffering a stroke. Following a request, practical assistance was provided to complete all necessary documentation for the patient's return to Uzbekistan.
It was reported that the patient returned to Uzbekistan on February 27 and is currently continuing treatment in Tashkent.
Earlier, it was announced that meningitis vaccination is no longer required for those traveling to Saudi Arabia for Umrah.
