Tracker hits a 12-year-old bicyclist on sidewalk

On September 23, a 12-year-old boy riding a bicycle on the sidewalk was struck by a Tracker vehicle in the Samarkand region. The regional traffic safety department reported the incident, which occurred around 7:10 p.m. on Afrosiyab Street.
The boy, born in 2012, was crossing a pedestrian crossing when the driver of the Tracker-2 hit him. As a result, the cyclist sustained injuries and was taken to the Samarkand City Medical Association for treatment.
A preliminary investigation into the incident is currently being conducted by the city’s traffic safety department.
This accident follows a previous tragedy in Tashkent, where a 9-year-old girl was fatally struck by a BYD vehicle.
