62-year-old taxi driver who groped a female student in Tashkent detained

A 62-year-old man who groped a female student in his car was detained in Tashkent. QALAMPIR.UZ got acquainted with the court documents.

It is noted that on January 22, 2025, at 16:30, the offender was driving a Matiz car with a female student passenger, N.X., to a university in the Yakkasaroy district. He described his height to N.X., touched her leg, and sexually assaulted her.

At the court hearing, the offender M.S. partially confessed to the crime. According to him, on January 22, at 16:30, while driving a Matiz car, he picked up a passenger from the Zangiota district to take her to the university. When the man heard the music playing loudly in his car, the rear window of the car was open, so the interior of the car cooled down, and when he reached out to close the rear window, his hand accidentally touched N.X.'s leg.

Then, while he was taking the student to her university, N.X. slammed the car door shut and fell out. The man shouted at N.X. not to slam the car door shut.

By a court decision, the man was found guilty of committing an offense under Part 1 of Article 41, Part 1 (Sexual misconduct) of the Code of Administrative Offenses and was sentenced to 5 days of administrative detention.

Let us recall that earlier in Tashkent, a conductor was imprisoned for sexually abusing a 13-year-old girl.
