The bus line is shortened in Tashkent

Starting from October 16, 2023, bus route number 89, which runs from "Korasuv 1st district" to the "Chorsu shopping center," will be altered. This change has been announced by "Tashshahartranskhizmat" JSC.

This modification has been made to align with the decision of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, dated February 16, 2023, regarding reforms in the public transport system. The new route for this bus will terminate at Pakhtakor metro station instead of reaching the Chorsu shopping center. Consequently, route No. 89 will now run between "Korasuv 1st district" and "Pakhtakor metro."

Passengers who previously relied on route 89 to reach the Chorsu shopping center can now use buses 53, 64, and 65 from Pakhtakor metro station to reach their destination.

It is important to mention that bus route number 150 had undergone a similar route shortening earlier.
