In Tashkent, a 63-year-old man sexually assaults an 8-year-old girl

A 63-year-old man forcibly kissed an 8-year-old girl, disregarding her resistance, in the Mirzo-Ulugbek district of the capital, Tashkent, committing a disgraceful act against her. This incident was reported by the Main Department of Internal Affairs of Tashkent city.

It is reported that the incident occurred on August 8, around 6:30 p.m., behind one of the multi-storey buildings on Buyuk Ipak Yoli Street, Mirzo Ulugbek District. The man, identified as M.I., born in 1960, engaged in indecent and lascivious behavior towards the victim, identified as Sh.U.

The law enforcement agency stated that the victim's parents have not yet filed a formal complaint regarding this case.

As a result of this situation, the Investigation Department of the Coordination Department of the Internal Affairs Body of Mirzo Ulugbek District has initiated a criminal case under Article 129 of the Criminal Code ("Committing indecent acts against a person under the age of sixteen"). The suspect has been apprehended following proper legal procedures, and the investigation is currently ongoing.

It is worth recalling that on June 7 of this year, a 55-year-old man molested a 7-year-old girl aboard a train in the Mirzo Ulugbek district of Tashkent. Subsequently, a criminal case was initiated against him. Additionally, in June of the same year, a 22-year-old man assaulted and molested a 16-year-old girl in one of the districts of Tashkent.
