Between January-June 2022, the average monthly nominal salary in Uzbekistan amounted to 3,540.5 thousand soms, and the growth rate compared to the corresponding period of 2021 was 119.3 percent.  Between January-June 2021, the average monthly salary was 2,968,500 soms.

Average monthly salary in regions:

Tashkent city - 5 million 486.2 thousand soms (22.2% increase);
Navoi region - 4 million 856.7 thousand soms (22.7 percent);
Tashkent region - 3 million 664.8 thousand soms (15.1 percent);
Bukhara region - 3 million 96 thousand soms (15.7 percent);
Andijan region - 3 million 83 thousand soms (19.8 percent);
Syrdarya region - 2 million 992.8 thousand soms (20.7 percent);
The Republic of Karakalpakstan - 2 million 985.5 thousand soms (12.2 percent);
Khorezm region - 2 million 902 thousand soms (19.5 percent);
Jizzakh region - 2 million 748.1 thousand soms (17.5 percent);
Kashkadarya region - 2 million 744.6 thousand soms (19.1 percent);
Surkhandarya region - 2 million 729.5 thousand soms (15.4 percent);
Namangan region - 2 million 687.8 thousand soms (17.4 percent);
Fergana region - 2 million 663.7 thousand soms (16.6 percent);
Samarkand region - 2 million 663.2 thousand soms (16.2 percent).

However, agricultural enterprises and small entrepreneurs were not taken into account when calculating the average salary for half a year.  This is because they submit reports once a year.

Here, the average monthly nominal salary for all legal entities for 2021 was 2 million 662 thousand soms which is 19.5% more than in 2020.
