Another 158.67 hectares of Tashkent region were allocated to New Tashkent

6823A total of 158.67 hectares of land has been allocated from the Yukori Chirchik district of the Tashkent region for the construction of New Tashkent. The regional governor has signed the relevant decision.
According to the decision, the territories of the "Guliston" (66.67 hectares), "Istiqlol" (13.92 hectares), and "Istiqbol" (78.08 hectares) neighborhoods in the Yukori Chirchik district have been permanently allocated to the "Directorate for the Establishment of New Tashkent City."
For your information, on March 13, the People's Deputies of the Tashkent Region Council approved a decision transferring 19,729.41 hectares from the Tashkent region to New Tashkent City. This includes 17,323.32 hectares from the Yukori Chirchik district and 2,406.1 hectares from the Urta Chirchik district. The transferred land will now be part of the Tashkent district.
We also remind you that it was previously reported that one of the streets in New Tashkent will be named "Saint Petersburg."
