A person who provided illegal religious lessons to children was arrested in the Boysun district of Surkhandarya region. This was reported by the Regional Department of Internal Affairs.
It was noted that the individual, born in 1989 and having secondary education, conducted illegal religious lessons for 11 minors at his home, using various religious literature, and charged between 500,000 and 1 million sums per month.
In relation to this situation, documents were filed against the accused in accordance with Article 241 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility (violation of the procedure for teaching religious teachings), resulting in a 10-day prison sentence.
We remind you that earlier, a 26-year-old man who was engaged in illegal religious education in the city of Termez, Surkhandarya region, was sentenced to 15 days in prison.
