A seven-kilogram baby girl was born in the obstetrics complex of the Syrdarya district medical association. The National News Agency of Uzbekistan (UzA) reported this.
According to Sanat Kadirov, chief doctor of the district medical association, the child is healthy. The mother and child are under the supervision of doctors and nurses and both are said to be doing well.
The baby was born by caesarean section and is said to be the first child of this weight to have been born in the history of the Syrdarya region. The child's mother is originally from the Syrdarya region and was born in 1998.
