A tragic incident has occurred at Maternity Complex No. 7 in the Qatortol area of the Chilonzor district in Tashkent, where a baby with a healthy heartbeat was born dead due to alleged negligence by doctors. The complaint was received by QALAMPIR.UZ.

Complainant says, "On November 19, the water broke for his daughter-in-law, who was pregnant. The family rushed her to the maternity hospital, but they claim that no immediate help was provided. Despite their concerns, the hospital staff reportedly dismissed their worries, asking why they were panicking. The following day, after a delayed examination, the doctors assured the family that both the mother and baby were fine. However, no action was taken to assist with the delivery despite the water breaking, and the complainant states that an injection of "Ceftriaxone" was administered to the patient before labor began."

The family claims that the woman had been under constant medical supervision, and there were no reports of any complications or defects with the baby.

The complainant emphasizes, "Both the mother and baby were healthy, and the stillbirth was a result of the hospital staff's inaction."

As of now, the Ministry of Health has not issued any official statement on the matter.

It is worth noting that just two days earlier, on November 21, a pregnant woman tragically passed away at a maternity hospital in Buka, raising further concerns about the quality of care in the region's healthcare facilities.
