A woman from Andijan found dead in her marital home in Samarkand

A young woman from Andijan, who had been relocated to the Samarkand region for marriage, was found dead in her marital home. The news was reported by "Millar."

The deceased, born in 1994, had moved to the Kattakurgan district of the Samarkand region two years ago after marriage.

According to her mother, there had been minor disputes within the family since her daughter’s pregnancy. When her body was returned to her parents' home, no official forensic report was provided. Visible bruises were reportedly found on the woman’s body.

The Prosecutor General's Office stated that a criminal case has been initiated under Article 103 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan (incitement to suicide). A preliminary investigation is currently underway.

It should be noted that earlier in Andijan, a separate case was reported involving a man who intentionally killed his wife in the middle of the road following a quarrel and fled the scene. The suspect, A.D., was later identified and apprehended by officers on night duty in the Kumakay neighborhood of the Altinkul district, Andijan region.
