The editors of QALAMPIR.UZ received a video showing the hands of a 2-year-old girl, bitten and bruised, at a kindergarten in Samarkand.

The child's mother informed QALAMPIR.UZ that the incident occurred at the "Yulduzcha" family non-governmental preschool educational institution in the Kattaqorgon district. She expressed her concerns about her child's condition and reported the matter to the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

However, the kindergarten's administration denied any involvement. They claimed that the girl was not enrolled at their institution and was not on their list. Contrarily, the mother insisted that her daughter had been attending the kindergarten for two months and knew all the staff.

Initially, the caregiver told the mother that another 2-year-old child had bitten her daughter. But after the Ministry of Internal Affairs intervened, it was asserted that the girl was not officially registered at the kindergarten.

The mother has now appealed to the prosecutor's office regarding the incident.

QALAMPIR.UZ also contacted the Children's Ombudsman for clarification. Surayyo Rahmonova described the situation as very confusing and stated that an investigation is underway.
