A fire broke out at a gas station in the Guzalkent settlement of the Pastdargam district, Samarkand region, on December 11. The incident was reported by the regional Emergency Situations Department.

According to the report, the district Emergency Situations Department received information about the fire at 21:00. In response, five fire and rescue crews were dispatched to the scene, arriving at 21:27. The fire was fully extinguished by 21:50.

The fire occurred due to a violation of technological processes during the transfer of liquefied gas fuel (propane) at the station, leading to a localized gas fire in the cylinder. Fortunately, the incident did not result in any damage to buildings or equipment, and no injuries or fatalities were reported.

"Pre-investigation work is currently underway," the Emergency Situations Department stated.

It is worth noting that a similar incident occurred earlier at a food center on A. Navoi Street in the Gafur Gulom mahalla of the Kibray district, Tashkent region. No injuries or fatalities were reported in that case either.
