Fire damages kindergarten roof in Samarkand

A fire broke out at a kindergarten in the Pastdargam district of the Samarkand region on December 11, according to the regional Emergency Situations Department.

The incident was reported at 20:40, and five fire and rescue crews were dispatched to the scene, arriving at 20:43. The fire was fully extinguished by 21:55.

The blaze caused damage to the ceiling and roof of the preschool educational institution. Fortunately, no injuries or fatalities were reported.

An investigation is currently underway to determine the cause of the fire. The Samarkand Regional Emergency Situations Department has urged residents to strictly adhere to fire safety regulations.

It is worth noting that on the same day, December 11, a fire also occurred at a gas station in the Samarkand region. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and no damage was caused to the station’s buildings or equipment.
