23-year-old girl jumps from apartment window in Samarkand

A 23-year-old girl committed suicide by jumping out of the window of an apartment building in Samarkand. This information was reported to QALAMPIR.UZ by Hayot Shamsutdinov, the press secretary of the Prosecutor General's Office.

The incident occurred on December 12 at approximately 23:00.

Following the report from the Samarkand City Prosecutor's Office, an investigative and operational group arrived at the scene. The group examined the site and obtained detailed explanatory letters from witnesses. A forensic medical examination was also ordered to determine the cause of death.

The Samarkand City Prosecutor's Office is currently conducting a pre-investigation review of the incident and will issue a legal decision based on the results.

It should be noted that on December 4, a 23-year-old female student in the Bukhara region committed suicide by drinking vinegar in her institute dormitory. The Bukhara city prosecutor's office is investigating that incident as well.
