A video showing a teenage girl being assaulted has gone viral on social media, drawing attention to a troubling incident in the Kattakurgan district of the Samarkand region. The regional Department of Internal Affairs has stated the matter.
The incident occurred on December 13, 2024, at a recreation park in Paishanba, Kattakurgan district. A conflict arose between a 19-year-old, identified as A.R., and a 16-year-old girl, K.U., who was previously acquainted with him. During the altercation, A.R. struck K.U., resulting in bodily injuries.
The Kattakurgan district police department is currently conducting a preliminary investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
It is worth noting that a similar altercation was reported earlier in the Khojaabad district of the Andijan region, involving young girls and a young man.
