Samarkand: Men threaten victim with knife, steal $1,900

4316In Samarkand, three men aged 23, 24, and 17 who threatened a 44-year-old man with a knife and robbed him of $1,900 were detained. This was reported by the Investigation Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
It is noted that on March 30 of this year, a 44-year-old resident of Samarkand, R.D., appealed to the short number “102” of the Samarkand City Internal Affairs Department, stating in his complaint that on the night of March 29 to March 30, unknown persons entered his apartment, threatened him with a knife, and took away $1,900 from his house.
The Investigation Department under the Federal Bureau of Internal Affairs of the Samarkand City Police Department initiated a criminal case against unknown persons under Article 164, Part 2, Subparagraphs “a” and “b” of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan (Robbery).
As a result of investigative and operational actions, it was revealed that two 23-year-old individuals were involved in the crime. Additionally, it was discovered that a 24-year-old citizen, Kh.S., and a 17-year-old minor, A.F., were also involved in this crime, and all suspects were detained in a procedural manner. The preliminary investigation is ongoing.
It should be recalled that earlier in Samarkand, a 17-year-old girl stole 15 types of gold jewelry worth 120 million sums from her home.
