A fraudster trying to sell forestry land was caught in Samarkand region. This was reported by the Department for Combating Economic Crimes under the General Prosecutor’s Office.
It was reported that citizen A.N, agreed to sell 3 hectares of land belonging to forestry in Okdarya district to citizen R.T for 25,000 US dollars. With the help of acquaintances, he was caught with physical evidence when he received 10,000 US dollars in advance in exchange for issuing documents in the name of R.T.
In connection with this situation, a criminal case was initiated under Article 168 (fraud) and Article 28, 211 (bribery) of the Criminal Code. An investigation is currently underway.
It should be recalled that earlier in Andijan, the deputy mayor was arrested when he received 5.3 million soms for the purchase of land in violation of the current procedure.
