Blogger and TV presenter Viktoria Bonya visited Uzbekistan and thanked President Shavkat Mirziyoyev while standing in a cotton field. She posted the video on her Instagram page on June 25 this year.

“I would like to thank the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Miromonovich. I am now in Uzbekistan, on your land, namely in cotton fields. I came here with a certain mission. During the few days I have been here, I have seen that you have not only preserved your culture, but are also increasing the potential of your land. And for me, as a person who values all of this and values nature, it is very pleasant to see. You know, I have traveled a lot, I have been to many places, and I see that many European countries are also switching to fast production, while China is moving toward cheaper and more synthetic things. Unfortunately, this is seriously damaging our environment,” Bonya said.

She also wished the people of Uzbekistan success for many years to come.

“I am very happy to see with my own eyes how you are developing. From the bottom of my heart, I wish you, your people and your land success for hundreds of years, continued development, and the ability to give people this culture, value and beauty. For this, I sincerely thank you, because what I see is not only wonderful and kind people, but also very well-maintained and beautiful places and lands. It is impossible not to say thank you. Earlier, in April this year, Viktoria Bonya attracted public attention after making a sharp appeal to Russian President Vladimir Putin and raising various problems. In particular, Bonya said that the Russian people were afraid of Putin and spoke about floods in Dagestan, as well as some environmental issues.
